Brookside Cottage: Enjoy Wild, Wonderful AND Comfortable in this charming West Virginia destination. Brookside cottage is well placed in the center of downtown Berkeley Springs conveniently located for shopping the antiques malls, the boutique offerings, bookstores, and three fine wine shops.

The finest restaurant in town, Lot 12, is located just up the street. Be sure and meet Chef Damian while you are there.. Your cottage has a queen size bed with end tables featuring lamps designed for reading. Several of our guests have commented on the ironed sheets, delightfully scented towels, and the absolute cleanliness in which we take pride.
The bathroom is equipped with a multi-jet tub and a heated floor.
The full kitchen has pots and pans for fixing intimate meals and china to serve them on an antique drop leaf table and dining chairs. Or you may choose to eat on the large and private brick patio along-side the spring fed brook, where there is a wrought iron table and four chairs.
Berkeley’s downtown park -where one might encounter a weekly farmers market in season, a display of antique autos, or simply a free concert from the band stand is less than a five minute walk. So that you may return to the more hectic world rested, relaxed and rejuvenated, visit one of the in-town spa's or call our favorite massage therapist Michael Pushkin.

If you want to combine relaxation with a need to stay attached to the outside world, WI-Fi is included as is a flat screen television.

Our host at Brookside Manor House, Mr. Roger Robles, will be happy to assist you with reservations, suggested activities of the town. He will also look forward to your next visit. Our goal is to make your stay at the cottage as comfortable as possible.

The list of top art destinations in America released recently by American Style magazine places Berkeley Springs at #7 among small cities and towns. Begin with the Ice House Gallery, just minutes from the cottage, that showcases a variety of artists both from the region and beyond.
Continue your stroll around town to the many artist’s shops, galleries and studios in and around Berkeley Springs. You will also find several full service spas, the state park with swimming pool, two antique malls, a variety of restaurants: coffee houses, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, pizza, All -American and fine dining at Tari’s, or upscale Lot 12. There are frequent concerts at the park or local venues, and entertainment at some restaurants and shops. There is a Farmers market on Sundays and Thursdays though October. The Movie Theater in town shows first run films on weekends.

Drive to the Berkeley Springs Panorama Overlook, which is rated by National Geographic as one of the five best overlooks in the Eastern United States and also boasts a lovely restaurant. There you can see the panoramic scenic view of three states and two rivers and if you time it right a beautiful sunset.
Close by Cacapon State Park has a swimming lake with beach and concession stand, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed golf course, fishing, tennis, row & paddleboats and horseback riding. Other favorite activities are canoeing and kayaking on the nearby Great Cacapon and Potomac Rivers; biking and hiking on the C&O Canal; swimming lake and town pool open Memorial Day-Labor Day, and a Fitness Center with an Indoor Pool and a Curves.
